6. Green Bay Packers

Recap: As you can tell, I don’t give a ton of credit to the Packers for beating one of the worst teams in the NFL, but I definitely have respect for what they are and what they can be on a good day. Despite getting 3 turnovers, it was a little bit surprising that they didn’t manage any sacks, but I am not worried about that defense.

Outlook: The Packers are a team with a great QB and a few dynamic players on offense, but ultimately I think they are a defensive team for the first time in a long time. Although, I guess any time you have a “defensive team” that could mess around and score 40, that is a good thing.

5. New Orleans Saints

Recap: The first team to clinch a playoff spot, the Saints took care of business against a banged up and less talented Atlanta Falcons team, getting revenge for their last matchup.

We know the offense is amazing, but to have success like they did on defense and special teams makes this team even more terrifying.

Outlook: What can’t the Saints do? Well, I guess if you can shut down Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara then they don’t have a lot of creative playmakers. On top of that their offensive line is banged up, but finding a gameplan for consistently beating the Saints may be harder for this team than any other in the league.
