8. Kansas City Chiefs

Recap: What a spectacular showing from the Chiefs offense that looked like they could have won by 50 points if they wanted to. Patrick Mahomes looked completely comfortable and in control for the first time since his injury, which is incredibly dangerous for other teams in the NFL.

The defense was opportunistic, especially early when the defense looked like they knew exactly where Jon Gruden’s Raiders wanted to go with the ball.

Outlook: Is this team good enough to win a ring? I am slowly changing my mind back to yes after thinking that they might be a little bit short of that caliber of team.

If the Chiefs can hit the playoffs with a healthy Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and Chris Jones then I think they have enough to make that run in a diminished AFC.

7. Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings play on Monday Night Football and we haven’t seen them in two weeks, but this is what we had to say about them the last time we got to see them:

"Recap: In one of the more thrilling games we’ve seen this season, the Minnesota Vikings narrowly escaped with a win over the Denver Broncos in Week 11, but needed to overcome a 20-0 halftime deficit to do so. The Broncos had their opportunity to win the game in the closing seconds, however the Vikings were able to get a big goal line stand to close out what was an amazing comeback win. Outlook: The Vikings will get a much-needed bye after such an emotional win in Week 11. After the bye, the Vikings will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, and they continue to breath down the Green Bay Packers’ neck in the NFC North."
