14. Dallas Cowboys

Recap: The Cowboys came out strong and then just completely disappeared in the face of a surprising Buffalo Bills team that seems to suffocate teams whether they are good like the Titans and Cowboys or bad like…well nearly all their other wins.

Outlook: They are 6-6 which would be 3rd best in most divisions, but lucky for the Cowboys they are in one of the worst divisions in the NFL if not the worst division.

Are they good? Kinda? Are they bad? No. And being “not bad” is good enough to get into the top-14 this year.

13. L.A. Rams

Recap: Did Sean McVay just get his groove back or is this a product of a bad defense from the Arizona Cardinals? Either way, it is clear that the Rams came out with bad intentions and wanted to make an example out of their division rivals.

Jared Goff topped 400 yards and Todd Gurley had 115 total yards and a touchdown, both of which are very encouraging. Now can they do that consistently or even 90% of that?

Outlook: Aaron Donald is on pace for nearly 15 sacks and the defense had a great game, but for some reason this team just doesn’t feel like it has the teeth that it should on either side of the ball.

With 6 sacks today and a healthy dose of offense, seeing more of this Rams team would go a long way towards convincing us that they deserve to be recognized as a contender.
