Optimism: Colts’ injuries on offense

When the Colts host the Titans in Week 13, they will do so without three of their best offensive players.

Running back Marlon Mack suffered a broken hand in Week 11 and was already ruled out for Sunday. Also, tight end Eric Ebron was sent to injured reserve earlier this week and will miss the rest of the season.

On Thursday, the Titans got something better than Thanksgiving turkey: news came down that wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who has caused nightmares for Tennessee in the past, would not play in Week 13 after he suffered a setback with his calf injury.

As a result of these three injuries, the Colts are now lacking play makers on offense, and it’s a situation the Titans must take full advantage of. Of course, we’ve seen that opponents missing key players against the Titans doesn’t always translate to a win, but it sure helps make it easier.
