There are reasons for both optimism and concern for the Tennessee Titans in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.

As the Tennessee Titans prepare to take on the Indianapolis Colts for the second time in the 2019 season, we’re going to take a look at some reasons for both optimism and concern in Week 13.

In the pair’s last meeting in Week 2, the Colts emerged victorious on the strength of their defense that was aided by sheer ineptitude on offense by the Titans.

A big run by Jordan Wilkins late and a touchdown reception by T.Y. Hilton inside of five minutes left in the fourth quarter ultimately proved to be the difference.

Of course, a lot has changed for both teams since then, and that’s especially true for the Titans. You can basically throw everything from the previous game out the window and start from scratch.

There is no understating just how crucial this game is for both teams. The winner will move into second place in the AFC South for sure, and quite possibly be tied with the Houston Texans record-wise atop the division if they lose to the New England Patriots.

Also, the winner of this game could jump into the No. 6 seed in the AFC Wild Card picture if both the Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Cleveland Browns) and Oakland Raiders (at Kansas City Chiefs) lose their games. As it stands now, the Colts are one spot ahead of the Titans in that race.

With major divisional and playoff implications on the line, let’s check out the reasons for optimism and concern for the Titans.
