Derrick Henry’s stock: Up

Titans running back Derrick Henry is in the midst of another monster finish to a season after he totaled 585 yards and seven touchdowns in the last four weeks of 2018.

Henry once again went off in Week 12. He finished with 159 yards and two touchdowns, and one of his scores was a signature 74-yard scamper. The only blemish? A lost fumble.

In his last two games, Henry has totaled 347 yards and four touchdowns, and more importantly he is getting insane volume, averaging 21 carries and 23 touches overall in that span. The days of fellow back Dion Lewis taking meaningful carries and snaps appear to be over.

Lewis has just five carries the last two games, all of which came in garbage time against the Jags. Furthermore, Lewis has played just 22 snaps in that span, including a season-low eight in Week 12.

We expected Henry to consistently put up RB1 numbers when the season began, and it looks as though he’s finally hitting that expectation at the right time for those fantasy owners making a playoff push.
