31. New England Patriots: Raekwon Davis DL, Alabama

-The 7th Alabama player drafted in the first round, Davis is everything I don’t like in a defensive lineman. While he is big and seemingly athletic, he just hasn’t been productive in college despite facing offensive lines that he should beat.

However, New England makes really weird picks sometimes and it would be just like Bill Belichick to take Davis and turn him into a real NFL player despite the fact that even his old friend/colleague Nick Saban couldn’t.

32. San Francisco 49ers: Creed Humphrey iOL, Oklahoma

-What the 49ers have been able to do with the offensive line they have is impressive because there just simply isn’t a lot of talent there. The scheme and the coaching are doing most of the work there and it is great to see that, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Humphrey is probably right up there with the top interior offensive linemen in this class and in his two years as a starter he has been a part of some exceptional offenses. Putting him with another great offensive minded coach should lead to more impressive play from Humphrey and a better team for Kyle Shanahan.
