Snap counts: Offense

Here’s a look at the snap counts for all Titans players on offense in Week 12.

Takeaways

Derrick Henry dominated snaps over Dion Lewis, and it’s the first time this season Lewis has been in single digits in any game, and most of those snaps came in garbage time. This could mean the Titans are finally eradicating Lewis from the game plan, but don’t rule out Lewis’ low snap count being a result of game script.

A.J. Brown continues to be on the field on a more consistent basis, which is absolutely necessary considering his ability to change the game on one play. After seeing snap counts in the 20’s for three of his first four games, Brown has not dipped below 36 in the seven games after, with highs of 50 and 47 snaps in the two games prior to Week 12.

-The newest addition to the Titans, RB/FB Khari Blasingame saw nearly double the snaps Lewis did, but did not record any stats. While it remains to be seen if he’ll actually get any carries this season, Blasingame is going to be involved as a lead blocker for Henry, which is the role the Titans envisioned for David Fluellen before he got hurt.

-For the first time this season, Adam Humphries finished with fewer than 20 snaps in a game. He made the most of his 12 snaps with three catches for 20 yards, but I still think he needs to be used more, as has been the case all season long.
