Derrick Henry needs to be re-signed ASAP

Titans running back Derrick Henry once again made a statement to everyone in the Titans front office that he should be at the top of the list when it comes to contract extensions come the spring.

Henry once again had an incredible performance against the Jaguars inside the compounds of Nissan Stadium.

The former Alabama running back ran through arm tackles with ease as he once again abused the Jaguars defense by rushing for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries as he helped his team cruise to a relatively easy victory over Jacksonville.

If the Titans are going to continue their run towards playoff contention, Henry must be the focal point of the offense. He is easily one of the most physically imposing forces in all of football when he gets going.

The more touches he gets, the less the defenses want to hit him. The Titans have the potential of being a dangerous team throughout December and beyond as long as Tannehill and Henry can continue to complement each other the way they have through five weeks.
