The bye week came at a perfect time for the Titans. They’re sitting at 5-5 with six extremely tough games remaining, and the game against the Jaguars, arguably their biggest rivals, is no different.

The Jags rank 29th against the run this season, so if the Titans want to avenge their Week 3 loss, they are going to have to continue to feed Derrick Henry as much as possible. They’ll also have to do much better against the Jags passing game than they did in the previous meeting, which will be a tougher test with Malcolm Butler not around this time.

Protecting Ryan Tannehill is also paramount to the success of the team, as the first time these two teams played, Marcus Mariota was under duress the entire game. That being said, the Titans’ offensive line was missing Taylor Lewan due to his suspension, which should mean a better day from the group.

Nick Foles looked pretty ordinary in his return last week against the Colts and if he struggles early, I expect Gardner Minshew to be re-inserted. Minshew had a decent enough performance against the Titans in Week 3, but nothing spectacular.

Either way, I think the Titans will come out on top in this game. They’ll be getting three starters back from injury, and with the team at near full strength, I think they will be too much for this struggling Jaguars team.

Prediction: Titans 28, Jaguars 13
