24. New York Jets (4-7)

Recap: While it looked like the New York Jets’ Week 12 game against the Oakland Raiders might be an uphill battle before it started, it turned out to be anything but. After finishing the first quarter tied at three, the Jets went on to score 31 unanswered points as their defense stifled the Raiders all game long.

Outlook: Good luck trying to figure out this Jets team. One week they lose to the lowly Dolphins, and just a few weeks later they’re beating a playoff contender in the Raiders. With three consecutive wins in their back pocket, the Jets have a shot to make it four in a row with a road game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.

23. Los Angeles Chargers (4-7) – BYE

Recap: After bringing their deficit down to one score against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11, the Los Angeles Chargers had four cracks at tying the game. Unfortunately for the Chargers, they were unable to get it done, and two picks by Philip Rivers on the team’s final two drives was the team’s death knell.

Outlook: The Chargers are on a bye in Week 12 and while there are still five games left to be played, this team looks finished, as even running the table might not be good enough. We might be counting down the final games of Rivers’ career with the Chargers. LA travels to Denver in Week 13 to take on the Broncos in battle that will leave the loser in the cellar of the AFC West.
