8. Houston Texans (7-4)

Recap: Trailing 17-13 going into the fourth quarter, the Houston Texans capped off an 86-yard drive with a touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to DeAndre Hopkins. From there, the Texans defense was able to make two huge stops in order to seal the win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Outlook: The victory gave the Texans their seventh win of the season and sole possession of first place in the AFC South over the Colts. With a one-game lead over Indy and the Titans, the Texans will have the tough task of trying to keep their lead with a matchup against the New England Patriots and their vaunted defense in Week 13.

7. Minnesota Vikings (8-3) – BYE

Recap: In one of the more thrilling games we’ve seen this season, the Minnesota Vikings narrowly escaped with a win over the Denver Broncos in Week 11, but needed to overcome a 20-0 halftime deficit to do so. The Broncos had their opportunity to win the game in the closing seconds, however the Vikings were able to get a big goal line stand to close out what was an amazing comeback win.

Outlook: The Vikings will get a much-needed bye after such an emotional win in Week 11. After the bye, the Vikings will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, and they continue to breath down the Green Bay Packers’ neck in the NFC North.
