12. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5)

Recap: Missing center Maurkice Pouncey to suspension, the Pittsburgh Steelers struggled mightily on offense and were forced to switch quarterbacks against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. With a 10-10 tie going into the fourth quarter, the Steelers would score on two field goals in the final frame, and the lowly Bengals were unable to answer.

Outlook: Pittsburgh’s victory combined with a Raiders loss now puts the Steelers in the final playoff spot for the time being, although there are three teams with the same record sitting behind them. Pittsburgh will look to hold its spot with a win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

11. Dallas Cowboys (6-5)

Recap: In what was a surprise to no one, the Dallas Cowboys had a tough time putting points on the board against the New England Patriots in Week 12. Dak Prescott threw for just 212 yards and the Cowboys offense failed to score a single touchdown, instead settling for three field goals. The loss certainly wasted what was a great effort by the defense.

Outlook: The Cowboys had a chance to grab a stranglehold in the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles losing, but failed to take advantage of the opportunity, and as a result the Eagles are still hanging around. Dallas will host the Buffalo Bills in Week 13.
