Pro: No QBs under contract in 2020

If you’re going to point to one possible pro it would be that the Titans don’t have a quarterback under contract in 2020, thus signing Colin Kaepernick would at least give them one going into next offseason.

It looks like former No. 2 overall pick Marcus Mariota is done in Nashville, and while the Ryan Tannehill experiment is off to a solid start, there’s no guarantee he’ll be able to do enough the rest of the way to finish the job and secure his spot on this team moving forward.

Kaepernick was a starter for the San Francisco 49ers for the better part of five seasons and has 58 career starts under his belt. He’s won playoff games, been to two NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl, so his playoff experience certainly isn’t lacking.

However, as we’ll point out in the next slide, it’s been a long time since he’s even sniffed that kind of success.
