Doing a little editing and adding some Tennessee Titans to ESPN’s list.
Mike Clay broke down his top-25 under 25 for ESPN and there are a few oversights that I would like to correct, specifically the lack of Tennessee Titans on the list.
Now, I will say that looking at 32 team’s worth of player 24 and younger and trying to scale them and figure out why a 23 year old guard is better than a 24 year old cornerback is an impossible task.
It is like being asked to apples to oranges, except you are also trying to make the comparison to a dozen other fruits as well.
So, I am not trying to criticize the work Clay did and there is a sizable section at the bottom of the article where he lists honorable mentions which just goes to show you that it is a tough task to narrow it down.
Instead of just talking about which names should be on the list, instead I will do this take-a-penny leave-a-penny style and tell you would I would take out to fit the Titans in as well.
Here are the top candidates.
