A.J. Brown

There were high hopes for rookie wide receiver A.J. Brown in Nashville prior to the start of the 2019 season, but I’m not sure anyone could have seen Brown becoming the best receiver on the team so soon.

Not only has he made several key plays in Titans wins this season that have shown flashes of elite big-play ability, he’s also leading the team in receiving yards and touchdowns through the air.

When you consider that he’s part of a group of pass-catchers that features fellow receivers Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, as well as tight end Delanie Walker, Brown’s team-leading stats become even more impressive.

As far as talent is concerned, Brown has all the makings of a star in this league.

But his play on the field isn’t the only impressive thing we’ve seen. In Week 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Brown showed leadership when he held left tackle Taylor Lewan accountable for a dumb penalty he committed that helped kill a drive.

The future is bright for Brown.
