27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Recap: Honestly, we are at the point where a four interception game by Jameis Winston doesn’t even register as a surprise. You know he is going to kill the team and the excuse is that the volume he puts up is worth it, but it absolutely isn’t.

At a certain point you have to feel almost disgusted that the front office and coaching staff haven’t made a change at quarterback or at least showed some acknowledgement that they aren’t going to sign him to a deal this offseason.

Outlook: The sad thing in all of this is that the starting two linebackers for the Bucs is one of the best young tandems in the NFL, but how could you possibly tell when the DBs get trashed week in and week out and it doesn’t matter how good you are at stopping the stuff in the middle of the field.

It isn’t bad, but Shaq Barrett has 2.5 sacks in his last 5 games and his production is starting to balance out to show that maybe he isn’t a top-flight EDGE when you look at everything he does. The Bucs should absolutely try to hold on to him, but it really feels like his future is with another team with deeper pockets unless Tampa somehow gives him the franchise tag.

This situation sort of reminds me of Jason Babin joining the Titans and then having a monster year only for the Titans to let him walk in free agency where he went back to bouncing around the NFL and having a good, not great rest of his career.
