29. Miami Dolphins

Recap: This was sort of a normal Ryan Fitzpatrick game without the same highs that we have seen. The QB topped 300 yards and had a nice completion percentage, but he also had 7 sacks and didn’t throw a touchdown.

Still, the Dolphins could have packed it in early but instead they made it a game vs their division rivals. This isn’t a moral victory thing, but it is nice to see that a team down three scores can come back and make it a game. Not every 2-8 team would have done the same.

Outlook: I really do like where the Miami Dolphins are. Sure they aren’t very good for an entire game, but they can have quarters at a time where they look like an average football team and trust me that is a compliment when you look at the gutting they have done to their roster.

The biggest concern about the Dolphins has nothing to do with Miami, but instead it has everything to do with Tuscaloosa and the season ending injury sustained by Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa.

All of the sudden it is starting to feel like the Dolphins may be a sneaky candidate to make a run at a free agent QB, trade around in the draft and try to build a win-now type team with a developmental QB in the wings.
