6. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks were on bye this week, but this is the analysis we had from last week’s rankings:

"Recap: The Seattle Seahawks don’t suit up until Monday Night Football in a huge divisional matchup against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers, but the extra day is probably good for Russell Wilson and Co. after a wild Week 9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs and Seahawks were involved in a shootout that went to overtime and saw 74 points scored between the two squads. In the end, a Wilson touchdown pass with over six minutes left in the extra frame was the strike to put Seattle over the top in Week 9. Outlook: There is no understating how important this Week 10 game against the 49ers is for the Seahawks. The Niners have been unbeatable through eight games and own the lead in the NFC West by two in the loss column. A win for the Seahawks would even them with the Niners in the win column and give them the early advantage with the tie-breaker in their favor before hitting a Week 11 bye. There is no question that this NFC West showdown in San Fran is the biggest and most interesting game of the Week 10 slate."
