7. Dallas Cowboys

Recap: On paper, I can’t tell you why the Dallas defense is playing so poorly because they certainly have talent on that roster. A Lions team led by Bo Scarbrough, Jeff Driskel, Danny Amendola, and Marvin Jones kept the game within one-possession late with 27 points.

Offensively, Dak Prescott continues to have a monstrous season despite having a fairly thin group of receivers. I will say, I am a little concerned with Ezekiel Elliot’s lack of production considering how much that coaching staff is going to rely on him down the stretch for better or worse.

Outlook: The Cowboys look like a team that can make it to an NFC Championship game and really make waves, but then…they completely fall off the map. They lost to a good, not great Vikings team two weeks ago and had a three game losing streak in the early part of the season that included a blowout vs Green Bay, a loss to Teddy Bridgewater and a loss to the Jets.

Coaching has to improve and they have to find a level of consistency or else they will end up being the NFC’s version of the Titans where they are just good enough to have a winning record but not live up to their potential.
