13. Philadelphia Eagles

Recap:  I want to believe in the Eagles so badly, but then when they have a 10 point lead early in the game and can’t maintain it all that I am left to focus on is why that happened.

The DBs are alright and the defensive line is good, but really it is the offense that I believe is hurting the team the most.

For all the talent on the offensive line, there is no run game and Carson Wentz seems to be getting pressured or flustered too often. That brings me to another issue which is that I don’t really understand the identity of this offense.

The Eagles want to be 2-TE heavy (which I don’t love after seeing the Titans do it so poorly for so long) but if you can’t get the running game to work out of that look then I don’t know what you expect your team to do offensively.

Outlook: I think they are going to pick 19th. The Eagles just feel like the unlucky team this year with a lot of talent but who had all the wrong breaks and will just miss the playoffs.

Carson Wentz is still a good quarterback and the coaches are above average, but the injuries on that offense and a confusing identity leave me doubting the upside of the Eagles.
