19. Carolina Panthers

Recap: You have to feel bad for Christian McCaffery because week in and week out he is dominant and the outcome of the game is completely up in the air.

The Panthers seem to be crumbling from all sides as offensive line, quarterback and defense all showed today that they might be taking a step back or at least no one is doing a good enough job to support the other.

Allowing 5 sacks is almost always going to get you killed and if you are allowing that kind of penetration then you better be dominating in the running game which they just aren’t. It makes life impossible for everyone, especially your backup QB.

Outlook: So…about not wanting to keep Cam Newton next year…

Joking aside, it is strange that when the Panthers finally came out and basically let the rumors fly that they wouldn’t be apposed to a new QB in 2020 only to see their backup have the worst game of his career.

Allen looked lost on the field and when you throw four interceptions you are either going to lose a game or you are going to be the Buccaneers QB for half a decade.
