20. Atlanta Falcons

Recap: What in the world is going on with the Falcons. After a year of being the NFL equivalent to the pit of misery, they have gone back to back winning games against the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers.

Sorry that doesn’t do it justice, they have absolutely decimated those teams for a combined score of 55-12!

Today may be more about the Carolina Panthers losing the game than the Falcons winning it, but when you look at both weeks back to back you start to realize that this isn’t a fluke they are just playing good football.

The star today was Calvin Ridley who put up nearly 150 yards and a touchdown catching every one of his eight targets. As a Falcons receiver, any time you can beat Julio Jones in every category in a winning game, you need to celebrate because it may not happen twice.

Outlook: The Falcons still seem to be destined to take one of the best cornerbacks in the draft and with three wins they are still in a great position to make that pick. However, I’m starting to feel like a lot of these teams near the top of the draft order are messing up their future by finally starting to click when it doesn’t matter.
