23. Detroit Lions

Recap: The Lions showed exactly why they are destined for a 4 or 5 win season this year. Even with a good day from the offense, this group just can’t play complimentary football and they have now allowed 20 or more points in 9 of their 10 games this year.

Today, they couldn’t stop the Dallas passing attack despite having some good talent in Justin Coleman and Darius Slay. That just can’t happen especially where you are talking about a division where you have to ultimately deal with the Vikings and Packers passing attacks.

Outlook: With Matt Stafford set to miss basically the rest of the season, you have to start wondering whether or not the ownership and front office start to think long term and potentially bring in an offensive mind to be the HC and draft a developmental QB on Day 1 or 2 of the draft.

This year is done, but they do have some intriguing pieces to build around if you can just improve the talent of the whole team around those guys.
