24. Arizona Cardinals

Recap: Wow, the Cardinals are quickly becoming one of the more fun teams to watch in the NFL. Sort of like a ramped up version of the Titans offense when Marcus Mariota was a rookie, the Cardinals spread things out and create running room for their backs and easy targets for their young QB.

The difference is that the Cardinals have a smart play caller on offense where the Titans didn’t and never found one.

Today they almost beat the San Francisco 49ers as Kyler Murray did his best impression of Lamar Jackson’s rookie year.

The offensive line is still a mess and there are definitely things to clean up, but early in the game the Cardinals had a two possession lead on their division rivals and the current 9-1 San Francisco 49ers.

Outlook: For this year? It won’t be anything special. However, if you take a look at 2020 and imagine what this team could do if they added an elite receiver to this group it instantly becomes a very scary thought if you are imagining how to defend that.

Watch out for the Cardinals in 2020 and if you have them on your schedule ignore the record and prepare to see your team have a battle on their hands.
