Winner No. 7: Joshua Kalu

If you didn’t know who defensive back Joshua Kalu was before Week 10, you do know now.

Kalu was one of the heroes of the win over the Chiefs, as his block of Harrison Butker’s last-second field goal sealed the win for the Titans on Sunday – and the block wasn’t exactly luck, either.

Kalu recognized that the Chiefs were using the same cadence for field goals the entire game, and he appeared to get closer and closer to blocking field goals or extra points as the game went on.

Finally, Kalu broke through, timing the snap of the field goal on the last play of the game perfectly, which allowed him to get his hand on the kick and give the Titans the win.

If you ever had any doubt about the level of work and professionalism it takes to be a player in the NFL, Kalu proved what it takes with his impressive persistence and intelligence to figure the Chiefs out.
