Winner No. 1: Derrick Henry

With the Chiefs having a bottom-five run defense, it was imperative that the Titans feed El Tractorcito the ball early and often, and that is precisely what they did.

He finished with 188 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, including a 68-yard scamper to give the Titans a one-point lead with just under six minutes to go in the third quarter.

Henry’s hard-nosed running played a big part in keeping the Titans in the game and eventually winning it.

Henry is in the final year of his contract, but if there was any doubt that he needs to be extended in the offseason, this game silenced those doubts. The Titans must make re-signing Henry a priority after the season is over.

In the meantime, it’s looking like Henry is on his way to having another big stretch of games similar to what he had last December, and it couldn’t have come at a better time for the Titans.
