We still need to worry about Ryan Succop

The 2019 debut for Ryan Succop in Week 9 was met with utter disappointment. The Titans kicker failed to convert any of his three field goal attempts in the losing effort. We hoped to see a bit better showing by Succop in Week 10, but he once again left us questioning if he’s fully back.

Tennessee didn’t need any field goals from Succop against the Chiefs, but he did miss one of his four extra point attempts in the game — and the miss almost ended up costing the Titans big time before they squeaked out a victory.

Prior to this season, Succop had missed just nine of his previous 136 PAT’s, which makes his miss on Sunday all the more alarming. Eventually, the Titans are going to need Succop to come through with a big kick, and until he does that doubts will linger about his viability moving forward.
