29. New York Jets (2-7)

Recap: The Toilet Bowl at MetLife Stadium lived up to its billing, as both the New York Jets and New York Giants did everything in their power to lose this game. In the end, it was the Giants who did enough to blow it, as their 27-21 lead evaporated over the final two quarters with the Jets scoring 10 unanswered points to grab the win. While the Jets will enjoy one of the few high points of their dreadful season, the Giants will have to marinate in this loss for another week with their bye coming up.

Outlook: This win does nothing more than give New York bragging rights for a Jets team that is already playing out the string. Adam Gase’s first season in New York has been nothing short of a disaster and there’s no telling if he’ll still be employed by season’s end. The Jets will look to avoid embarrassment for a second straight week when they take on the Washington Redskins on the road in Week 11. After their loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, the Jets have shown that no game is a guaranteed win for them.
