31. Washington Redskins (1-8) – BYE

Recap: Prior to their bye this week, the Washington Redskins gave Dwayne Haskins the nod in Week 9 and it didn’t end well. Haskins completed 15-of-22 passes and totaled just 144 yards through the air en route to a 24-9 loss at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, though, as Haskins literally has almost no help around him and is being set up to fail in his rookie campaign. The lone bright spot for Washington? Adrian Peterson had 108 rushing yards in the losing effort.

Outlook: Haskins has now started in one game and made relief appearances in two others. None of those appearances have gone well. The Redskins need to decide if they’re going to keep running Haskins out there or not, because this back-and-forth situation isn’t good for his development. Even if they decide to stick with him, Haskins is up against it because the offense he is apart of stinks. We’ll see what the Redskins decide to do in Week 11 after their bye in a home tilt against the almost equally lowly New York Jets.
