13. Oakland Raiders (5-4)
Recap: The Oakland Raiders continue to surprise the NFL world as head coach Jon Gruden’s squad keeps on winning games and exceeding expectations. Against a hot Los Angeles Chargers team in Week 10, the Raiders were trailing late in the fourth quarter with the ball. Derek Carr and Co. orchestrated a 75-yard drive that ended with a Josh Jacobs 18-yard touchdown run to give Oakland the lead. The Chargers had a chance to win on the following drive, but one of Philip Rivers’ three picks in the game ended those hopes.
Outlook: Don’t look now, but the Raiders are keeping pace with the Kansas City Chiefs and sit just one game back in the win column after KC lost in Week 10. The Chiefs currently own the tie-breaker after a win over the Raiders earlier in the season, but these two squads will meet again in Week 13. The Raiders have a great opportunity to extend their winning streak to three with a home tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11.
