16. Carolina Panthers (5-4)

Recap: The Carolina Panthers staked themselves to a 10-7 lead in the second quarter over the Green Bay Packers, but the offense stalled from there and mustered up just six points the rest of the game. It wasn’t until early in the fourth quarter that the Panthers would score again, and Kyle Allen and Co. had a chance to send the game into overtime on their last possession, but Christian McCaffrey was stuffed at the goal line to end the game.

Outlook: With Cam Newton out for the season and quite possibly on his way out of Carolina after this season, the reins of the offense are now officially in Allen’s hands. While he suffered the loss in Week 10, Allen is 5-2 as the team’s starter and looks to have a bright future. The Panthers will hope to get back on track in Week 11 and keep their playoff hopes alive and well when they host the lowly Atlanta Falcons.
