22. Detroit Lions (3-5-1)
Recap: The Detroit Lions released some stunning news on Sunday morning when it was discovered that Matthew Stafford was dealing with a somewhat serious back injury that would keep him out of the Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears. As expected, the loss of Stafford doomed the Lions’ offense, and, of course, Jeff Driskel was unable to pick up the slack in a game that saw Detroit score just six points through the first three quarters, and 13 overall in a losing effort.
Outlook: It has been a hard fall from grace for a Lions team that once looked like a possible playoff contender. Detroit has lost five of its last six and now could be without Stafford for a few weeks as he recovers from his injury. If Stafford is forced to miss next week, the Lions will be looking at a home matchup against the Dallas Cowboys with Driskel behind center once again.
