A.J. Brown

The Titans will be without two of their top pass-catchers this week, with tight end Delanie Walker being ruled out and wide receiver Corey Davis being doubtful.

Since Tannehill took over behind center for the Titans, Brown has become one of his go-to targets. The rookie has seen 18 targets the past three games, and in two of those games Brown saw a season-high in targets.

Brown is already this team’s No. 1 receiver based on yardage, but now he’s going to undoubtedly draw extra attention if Davis’ doubtful status holds up and he misses this game.

It’ll be interesting to see if Brown rises to the occasion and can still produce in these conditions, or if he has another pedestrian game like we’ve seen him have many times this season (some of which were no fault of his own).

More so than ever, the Titans need their 2019 second-round pick to step up and have the game of his life. In order to do that, Brown will have to be the yards after catch monster we’ve seen him be this season.
