The Tennessee Titans are in a really bad spot. With Kansas City getting Patrick Mahomes back, all signs point to a rested version of the 2018 MVP coming into Nashville with something to prove.

Defensively, the Titans are missing starters or are banged up at every level with Jayon Brown, Jurrell Casey and Malcolm Butler struggling with injuries. While I think they have capable backups, you can’t go into a game like this with anything less than your best and expect to win.

Offensively, the Tennessee Titans do look improved (despite looking like a team that is destined to stay below 30 points all season) but the numbers aren’t telling the story that we all see. Arthur Smith is going to make bad decisions from who to start all the way to what to call, mainly because he isn’t very good at his job.

With that in mind, it feels like Tennessee is going to have their hands full on Sunday on both sides of the ball and for a Titans team that couldn’t play two halves of good football last week, I expect another disfuntional performance until proven otherwise. Another loss moves the Titans to 4-6 and gives GM Jon Robinson a bye week to really think about if this is the leadership he wants in place on offense and at head coach going forward with a QB change imminent.

Final score prediction: Chiefs 34, Titans 20
