Coming off of their loss this past Sunday to the Carolina Panthers, the Titans will need to do three things in order to get back to .500.

The Titans are now back under .500 after their loss on Sunday to the Carolina Panthers, and moving forward, their schedule only gets harder.

Up next, they host the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 6-3 and coming off of a last-second victory over the Minnesota Vikings. They could be getting star quarterback Patrick Mahomes back under center this week, as he was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Titans have been able to get the better of the Chiefs in the previous two meetings, the last being a 2017-18 Wild Card playoff matchup in Kansas City in which the Titans came back from a 21-3 halftime deficit to win 22-21.

Now in 2019, both of these teams look much different than they did in that game, with the Chiefs now a true Super Bowl contender, and the Titans now once again the doormat of the AFC South.

Not many people will give the Titans a chance to win this game, and for good reason. They’ve seen sporadic success offensively, and their defense, arguably one of the best earlier in the season, has started to fall victim to the injury bug.

However, if the Titans want any shot at pulling off an upset victory over the Chiefs, here are three things they must accomplish in order to get back into the win column.
