Corey Davis: Sit

UPDATE: Davis is listed as doubtful for Week 10, so chances are he won’t play.

End of Update

It’s hard to trust Davis at this point of the season with him regularly disappointing fantasy owners on a weekly basis. Regardless of matchup, Davis remains a guy who should be kept on the bench, and quite possibly sent to the waiver wire.

Some of his struggles have been his fault, but it’s hard to thrive under an offensive coordinator who doesn’t do enough to get Davis the ball. In Week 9, the former No. 5 overall pick saw just one target until late in the fourth quarter, which only adds to the concerns surrounding him.

Even if you need Davis as a spot starter this week, look elsewhere. The Chiefs are surrendering the seventh-fewest fantasy points per contest to opposing receivers, and Davis is dealing with a hip injury that kept him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Even if he plays, he could quite possibly be limited.

Like most weeks, Davis is setup for yet another disappointing showing in Week 10.
