Concern: Chiefs pass-rush

The Chiefs have done a good job getting to the quarterback in 2019. Kansas City has totaled 26 sacks, the sixth-most in the NFL. On the flip side, the Titans are still putrid upfront, surrendering the most sacks in the NFL with 38.

To make matters worse, the Chiefs have a stud up the middle in defensive lineman Chris Jones. One year after totaling 15.5 sacks, Jones has just three this season, but as we’ve seen from interior defensive linemen in past games, the Titans are always a perfect bounce-back spot. Tennessee will also have to defend against defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, who is in the midst of a career year with 4.5 sacks.

If the Titans are lucky, defensive end Frank Clark could miss his third straight game. If not, Clark is yet another nightmare the Titans will have to worry about.

It’s getting kind of pointless to even specifically point out an opposing team’s best pass-rushers because the Titans have been a sieve against any and all defensive linemen who take the field week to week.
