To emerge victorious against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, the Tennessee Titans must take care of three things.

The Tennessee Titans are rolling. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has kept things simple — he has done his job and done it well. Since Tannehill took over in Week 7, the Titans are a perfect 6-for-6 inside the redzone.

His performance is indicative of good things to come; I can’t remember a time when a Titans’ QB threw for multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games, and that’s become the “norm” in Tennessee. Why settle for less in an ever-evolving NFL where quarterbacks are throwing for more yards and more touchdowns than ever before? I’d rather not.

In the midst of all of this optimism, the Titans are on to Carolina, ready for one of the more difficult opponents on their schedule. The Panthers currently sit at 4-3, good for second in the NFC South. Out of the gates, Carolina looked fated for another disappointing season.

However, since QB Cam Newton went down with a foot injury, the Panthers have overcome their 0-2 start. A 2018 UDFA, QB Kyle Allen has given the team new life, and Newton’s days might be numbered in Charlotte.

Enough of the narrative; I’m sure you probably came to find out how the Titans’ can win this game. Well, I’ve identified three keys to victory imperative for the boys in two-tone blue. Let’s dive in.
