9. Seattle Seahawks

Recap: Seattle was ranked here last week, but you don’t get a lot of credit for winning against a bad team in overtime. Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf look great which makes the offense really fun to watch, also shout out to Chris Carson who had a nice play today.

Defensively the big names are helping prop up some less than great players, but ultimately the unit needs more talent this offseason.

Outlook: You have to like the odds of any team with Russell Wilson at QB and it really helps that he has two big play WRs now for the first time maybe in his entire career. Having said that, the team has completely switched from the dominant defense that could carry a team to a team that needs the offense to drag a bad defense over the finish line.

I don’t know how sustainable that is going to be in the playoffs, but at least this feels like a team destined to go to the playoffs rather than one whose flaws outweigh their strengths.
