13. Carolina Panthers

Recap: The Panthers took on an undisciplined, poorly coached and banged up Titans team and handled them with ease. Despite a two game winning streak from Tennessee, the Panthers frustrated them early and often leading to the worst game of the season for the Titans from a turnover standpoint.

Defensively there was a fair amount of pressure despite Mario Addison not playing and the team victimized the bad interior of the Titans at times.

Offensively all eyes were on Christian McCaffery and he didn’t disappoint making six-yard runs look effortless and scoring three touchdowns on the day.

Outlook: Carolina is in the strange position of being without their starting quarterback but looking much better without him than they do with him. Cam Newton shouldn’t rush back and in fact the Panthers should be thinking about what they could get for him in trade value considering how little success the team has had with him post Super Bowl run.

Defensively they are only going to improve with Brian Burns looking good and with the stars on that unit looking impressive.
