16. Oakland Raiders

Recap: I just cannot get a great handle on the Oakland Raiders. At 4-4 and with Derek Carr at peak performance (statistically) you have to be impressed with the efficiency that Jon Gruden is getting out of his team.

Not only that, but Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller have come in and been revelations and perfect fits for this offense even when there were signs to suggest that those two wouldn’t be stars like this right away.

However, just when I start to think they are a good team then they play a good team and lose. Will they ever break out of this rut?

Outlook: The great news for the Oakland Raiders is that even if they don’t win a hard game all season, they should still end up in the playoffs and look like they are on pace for a 10 win season at worst.

Defensively there is a ton of work to do, but with extra picks in the upcoming draft the Las Vegas Raiders should have the resources to upgrade that and turn into real threats if they aren’t already.
