18. Pittsburgh Steelers

Recap: The Steelers offense is in shambles right now without their QB, RB and RB2, so to see that they put up 26 points may inspire you to think that they have turned a corner. However, that score is partially courtesy of Minkah Fitzpatrick‘s pick-six and four field goals from Chris Boswell.

The lone touchdown of the day for the Steelers came from a short pass to Vance McDonald.

However, let’s focus on what is really important here and that is that the defense racked up five sacks against the Indianapolis Colts as well as nine quarterback hits. It had to have been the most productive day that a defense has had against a Colts offense in a long time.

Very important win for the Steelers who are now at 4-4 with a sneaky important tie breaker against the Colts in the AFC Wild Card race.

Outlook: The defense for the Steelers looks solid like I said and there should be hope that in time the offense will get better when the running back situation improves. I don’t know if I truly believe they are one of the six best teams in the AFC but right now they have the wins to get them to the playoffs and that is all that matters.
