20. Arizona Cardinals

Recap: This was an exciting game highlighted not by what happened through the air by but what newly acquired running back Kenyan Drake and rookie Kyler Murray did with the ball in their hands on the ground.

Drake looked like exactly what teams like the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans wanted when rumors were popping up that those two teams were bidding for them and it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see the Cardinals keep Drake and use him as their featured back if this continues.

Something that surprised me a little bit was how many negative plays the Cardinals created with 9 TFLs and a sack, not to mention four QB hits. If this front seven can do more of that going forward close games like this should happen more and more.

Outlook: The Cardinals are exciting, but I don’t think they are good yet. If I had to make a comparison, I would say they feel a lot like the 2018 Cleveland Browns with a lot of upside on offense and some playmakers on defense.

However, the key difference is that there isn’t going to be a coaching change this offseason for Arizona and that continuity should make a ton of difference.
