22. New York Giants

The Giants don’t play until Monday night, but this is what we said about them last week:

"Recap: I really don’t knock the Giants at all for the loss they had today. Obviously you never want to lose and that teams should never actively tank. However, I also think that if you are going to lose then the best case scenario is to lose a game where your rookie QB looks good and your defense makes plays here and there. Outlook: Long term the Giants are in a good place and in the 2020 NFL Draft, Dave Gettleman will invest heavily in the front lines (it is just what he does), but if he was smart he would take advantage of this WR class and try to land someone that he can sell as being kinda, sorta close to as good as Odell Beckham is. Sprinkle in an EDGE and upgrade at a few positions and the Giants may be ready to compete in the NFC East much more quickly than I imagined a few months ago."
