Stud: DaQuan Jones

All Titans fans know that defensive tackle Jurrell Casey has been the anchor and dominant force of the defensive line since he came into the league in 2011. However, DaQuan Jones has been a hidden gem on the Titans’ line this season. Jones has exploded onto the scene this year, pairing with Casey to form a force on the defensive line.

Dud: Mike Vrabel

The Titans’ coaching staff has been very disappointing this season. Last year, head coach Mike Vrabel was lauded for making gutsy calls in crunch time and making key adjustments throughout the season. This year, Vrabel hasn’t shown the same keen game sense with many poor decisions having be made.

Last week, Vrabel almost blew the game with a fake field goal attempt that saw punter Brett Kern trying to run for a first down. The week before, Vrabel went for a fourth-and-1 at the 50-yard line only up three late in the fourth quarter. The decisions are mostly questionable given how putrid the offense has looked, particularly with its inability to convert key downs.
