There are reasons for both optimism and concern for the Tennessee Titans as they begin their second half schedule on Sunday.

This Sunday marks the start of the second half of the season for the Tennessee Titans, as they prepare to hit the road to take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.

While there are certainly reasons to be optimistic going into the second half of the season, the Titans have plenty of concerns to worry about, also.

Despite about as inconsistent a season as you can imagine, the Titans sit at 4-4 and still have an opportunity to not only make the playoffs, but win the division also. However, in order to accomplish either of those things, the Titans have plenty to clean up.

This is a team loaded with talent on both sides of the ball, so there’s no question this start has been a disappointment – and that’s especially true when you consider the opportunities the Titans have had to win games that they ended up losing.

If Tennessee is going to navigate the last eight games of the season successfully, the players and coaches have got to learn from their mistakes and continue to build on what has gone right.

Let’s take a look at what those things are as the start of the second half approaches.
