The Tennessee Titans are officially halfway through their season and it’s time for the midseason rookie report card for the 2019 draft class.

The 2019 Tennessee Titans draft class is extremely top heavy through eight games. The first two picks, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons out of Mississippi State and Wide Receiver A.J. Brown out of Ole Miss, have shown glimpses of potential stardom thus far in their young NFL careers.

The rest of the 2019 draft class has plenty of questions that will likely need to be answered as the years pass. However, five out of the six players that were drafted in April have made an impact at one point or another.

Only fifth-round pick D’Andre Walker has failed to contribute thus far, as he was placed on Injured Reserve with a groin injury that put an end to his rookie campaign before it ever even started.

Overall, there is plenty of reasons to be optimistic and excited about the future of this draft class. Here is my midseason rookie report card for the Titans’ 2019 draft class, followed by some analysis on which rookies have provided the biggest impact, the rookie with the biggest upside, and the rookie that has been the biggest disappointment thus far.

1st Round Pick – DT Jeffery Simmons: A

2nd Round Pick – WR A.J. Brown: A

3rd Round Pick – G Nate Davis: D+

4th Round Pick – S Amani Hooker: C+

5th Round Pick – OLB D’Andre Walker: Incomplete

6th Round Pick – ILB David Long: C

Now, on to the analysis of who has made the biggest impact, has the biggest upside and has been the biggest disappointment among the rookie class.
