5. Delanie Walker could be expendable.

Most Titans fans don’t want to think about the possibility of Delanie Walker leaving the Titans, but with how efficient Jonnu Smith has been in relief of the 14-year veteran, it could be more of a possibility than you guys think.

Walker has been dealing with an ankle issue that stems from his season-ending injury last season, and was walking around in a boot and inactive for Sunday’s game. Smith had six catches for 78 yards and a touchdown in his second straight start in Walker’s place.

He wasn’t the only tight end who saw action, as Anthony Firkser also had three catches for 43 yards.

Walker has had a great career with the Titans, and many a Titans fan (myself included) would be sad if he were to leave, but at the end of the day, with how well Smith has been playing so far with him out of action, it’s looking like his time with the Titans will be coming to an end soon.
