NFL Power Rankings Week 9: Ryan Tannehill leads Titans to win streak

7. L.A. Rams

Recap: The Rams went into Cincinnati and did what teams do, they beat the Bengals.

I am not celebrating or over valuing this win, but at the end of the day you have to do things like that to get to 10-6 or better without suffering any more stupid losses. In a pretty boring game, the Rams get the win and now it is on to bigger and better things.

Outlook: The Rams are built on some pretty great pieces. With Cooper Kupp, Andrew Whitworth, Todd Gurley (I know he isn’t 100%), Darrell Henderson, Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, and Dante Fowler, you have to have a lot of optimism about the future.

But then, you look behind center and see Jared Goff and his bloated contract looking back at you and it just hurts.

While I think Sean McVay and Wade Phillips are two of the best coaches at their respective side of the ball, I don’t believe that you can win a Super Bowl with that guy at quarterback.
